You’re either a Roku household or you’re not. We are. Sometimes dementia takes over your home and the game show network needs to play - all day 😑 Yes other cable co’s provide this channel but Roku does it with ease. Download the app, set it up and off you go. This is the streaming stick device which is just as good as the little box. No difference really other than how you choose to use Roku. What’s even better is your devices can communicate with each other so starting on one tv but finishing on another is simple. The remote can either be used as buttons or voice. Personally, we do both simply bc we like to amaze our mom by telling the tv what to do. Were the boss here Tv, not you 😂 This couldn’t be easier, plug it in the usb port on the side or the back of your tv. Connect to the internet, start streaming. Easy peasy! Great sound adjustments to your liking, set up a wallpaper and screensaver for even more fun. Roku is compatable with all makes and models, so no fear of it not working. Now who’s ready for some Family Feud?
I travel for living and I would carry a firestick with me. It was a few years old, and I was having problems connecting to the wifi at the hotels especially the Hilton ones it would just show a blank screen. So after doing some research I decided to try to Roku stick. So far i have not had any problem connecting to the hotel wifi. It asks if this is a hotel or dorm and you connect using your phone. The only issue I've had was connecting the remote app on my phone to the roku stick. I was able to due it at home and at 1 hotel but the last few times could not connect to each other. But the regular remote still works.
Watching was wonderfully worry-free. This humble, handy, HDMI-ready gadget made my viewing vivacious and vibrant. Daring directors' dreamy dramas and dynamic documentaries danced delightfully right on my screen. This perfect little player performed powerfully, providing a pleasingly smooth stream without a single sudden, stuttering stop. Definitely deserves a deserving five-star score!
Works great. Easy to setup. The only thing I don't like is the preprogrammed buttons. I don't have any of those apps so they are worthless. Seems strange that they would decide for me what streaming apps I should have. Maybe they get a kickback from these apps for putting those buttons on the remote. But other than that I like it.
Works great! We have always used cable or satellite dish to get TV, but this is better and far cheaper. Great value!!!! and it is so easy to connect and use. Roku makes it user friendly.
